A milestone for our company
We are delighted to share some important news: the Hotel Waldstätterhof Luzern, including the Gleis 1 restaurant, has been awarded the ibex fairstay gold label.
The journey to get there was intense and meticulous: we submitted all the necessary documents in August, and the audit took place at our premises in September. We finally received the good news in November, and last week we celebrated this milestone with our team at a small ibex aperitif.
After being awarded Silver in 2023, the step up to Gold in this year's recertification is a significant step forward for us and a clear sign of our continuous development.
What does ibex fairstay mean?
ibex fairstay supports and certifies businesses on their path to sustainable and responsible corporate management. The assessment is based on five dimensions: management, ecology, regional anchoring, social balance, and finance & performance.
Based on a comprehensive catalog of measures, detailed analyses, and calculations, businesses are awarded bronze, silver, gold, or platinum status.
We are particularly proud of the five out of five points we received in the areas of management quality, social issues, and finance & performance. For us, this award is not only a cause for celebration, but also an incentive. Sustainability is an ongoing process, and we will continue to pursue it.
