Since 2024, the Hotel Waldstätterhof in Lucerne has been shining in new splendor. Our 91 stylishly furnished rooms—ranging from cozy single rooms to spacious suites—provide the perfect setting for relaxation and retreat. We’ll treat you to culinary delights at the authentic Restaurant Gleis 1, featuring its own bar and sunny terrace. For private celebrations or business events, the separate banquet room offers the ideal ambiance. Seven modern seminar rooms round out our offerings and make the Hotel Waldstätterhof the ideal venue for meetings, workshops, and seminars.

Swiss cuisine at Restaurant Gleis 1
At Restaurant Gleis 1, Executive Chef Christoph Grauert and his team serve modern interpretations of Lucerne and Swiss cuisine. Look forward to homemade vegetarian ravioli, a 1-kg Porterhouse steak that’s carved right at your table, or a whole rainbow trout.
Our menu combines regional classics with creative, seasonal touches. We use only fresh, high-quality ingredients, which are selected with the utmost care and prepared with great attention to detail.
Your visit is rounded out by our cozy Gleis 1 Bar, which invites you to linger over an aperitif, a cocktail, or a glass of wine—whether before dinner, after, or simply in between.

The Hotel Waldstätterhof in Lucerne offers the ideal setting for conferences and seminars: professional, personalized, and flexible. Our facilities can accommodate up to 20 people in a conference-style setup or up to 50 people in a theater-style setup. The modern, light-filled rooms provide an ideal environment for focused listening and work.
Thanks to its central location right next to Lucerne’s train station, our seminar hotel is easily accessible for all participants. The 91 newly renovated rooms, available in various sizes, also offer comfortable accommodations.
