On Friday, May 8, 2026, the Gleis 1 restaurant in Lucerne served as the setting for a very special evening: Our first Flying Dinner brought together fine dining, music, and a relaxed atmosphere in a unique way, and we can safely say it was a resounding success.
Starting at 6 p.m., the restaurant began to fill with cheerful guests, lively conversation, and anticipation of an enjoyable evening.
A pleasure to stroll through
Throughout the evening, our kitchen team served nine creative courses, available with meat or as vegetarian options. The dishes were served fresh from the kitchen one after another, providing a constant stream of new highlights and topics of conversation at the high tables.
The event also featured a signature welcome drink, a selection of drinks served at will, and, of course, the ever-popular espresso martinis.
Lounge beats & good conversation
DJ Bacile provided the perfect soundtrack with laid-back beats that gave the evening just the right energy. The combination of music, fine dining, and wonderful guests made the evening truly special for us.
We were especially pleased by all the positive feedback we received right there on the spot. Hearing that our guests enjoyed the evening, the concept, and the atmosphere so much is a huge source of motivation for us.
